FINAL EDITION:
1)Building colors have been adjusted to have a more normal appearance as have
the cranes on the docks without taking away the "Caribbean" atmosphere.
2)High speed taxi ways have been added and improved so smaller aircraft can exit the active
runway sooner and not get run over by the jet taking off and landing every 5 minutes and
flying around the pattern (watch out for it!). Aircraft have been added on the hangar pad
along with vehicles.
3)Taxiways extend into the parking area for easy night time taxi around parked aircraft. Sorry
but the asphalt is bumpy for light aircraft on taxiways.
4)Included is the "new" file to use on your own program (credit below) to develop or adjust to your own
needs.
5)Great care has been taken to retain as much of the island's natural beauty as possible.
Fly around this area from the hotel 10 miles to the north to the southern end of the island.
My private villa is south of the airport on the beach (I wish) with guard house at the road entrance.
in either version of FS. This has been tested in both versions!
THIS AIRPORT HAS THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:
1) ILS 18nm range all four approaches.
2) VOR/DME over 100nm range.
3) Tower control.
4) Full GPS and MAP view displays.
5) Shows up in bold "CARIBBEAN" under the regions section of flight planner.
6) On FS2002 shows up under "search" "CJCR" or "Worship."
7) Extra wide runways (55 meters) and taxi ways for jumbo jets.
8) Two runways each 11,000 feet. (R3/21) (R12/30).
To find it it will show up on your SEARCH "WORSHIP" OR "CJER" ON FS2002.
You may then pick your runway as with any other airport. The advantage
to installing this in this manner is that you may easily delete the airport (God forbid)!
OR YOU MAY UNZIP IT WITH AIU 4.0 DIRECTLY INTO THE CARIBBEAN FOLDER. IF YOU INSTALL IT IN THIS MANNER IT WILL SHOW UP SEARCH AS A "BOLD"
CARIBBEAN UNDER THE REGIONS HEADINGS for flight planning and it will show up as the BOLD caribbean.
FULL DISPLAY ON GPS, AND MAPS.
This virtual airport is located across the bay from Rock Sound in the Bahamas.
Two 11,000' runways with full IFR and jumbo jet capabilities. Shipping dock,
hotels, condos restaurants on the beach! This will not affect frame rates on FS2002. Install
as above so corrections or editions can be made without affecting your main directory.
Maps, GPS, route planner works!
I will be adding more scenery to this file at a gradual pace
to "develop" more of the island to the south with industrial park.
